Craftcuts.com has found a creative way to create a unique and unusual table with laser cut numbers and letters.

Laser cut Christmas decorations
Cotter.dk was well represented at this year’s Finders Keepers Christmas Market on the Nordic Fox stand. Here you could buy a wide range of laser cut products -– such as Christmas decorations inspired by Nordic nature. The big fox on the back wall is cut very finely in 3mm black acrylic. 1:20 model
Based on an idea by Tor Nørretranders, in collaboration with Lars Rothenborg and Lundgård og Tranberg Arkitekter, Cotter shaped and produced this large architecture model in 3mm acrylic with print. The model is a 1:20 model of Tietgen Kollegiet (Hall of Residence) and all facades on the building were photographed with a remote controlled drone flown by Bo Tornvig. The model was on display at the Danish Architecture Centre until September 2014.
Laser cutting of stencils
Cotter has been involved in developing and producing ‘Leg på streg’ stencil sets for The Danish Cancer Society and The Nordea Foundation. The stencil kit is available in two versions, one laser cut in hard plastic and one in laser cut cardboard. More than 150 schools in Denmark have been had a ‘Leg på Streg’ drawn on the school grounds, and 900 course participants have been taught how to use the stencil sets that are available for approximately 25,000 children in Denmark.

Light installations in a church space
Torden and Lynild have used acrylic and light to revitalise the Friday church in Vesterbro. The clever sign is laser cut and engraved by Cotter, where the acrylic works both as a light-emitting installation, as well as showing the way in the darkness.
Giant cacti
The talented ladies from KAKTUS Copenhagen sprinkle plant magic around the kingdom with their fabulous cacti and sharp sense of design. They used Cotter to laser cut 2 metre-high cacti in corrugated cardboard and poplar plywood. If you ever need a cactus that never needs watering – you can let yourself be inspired by these drawings.
Sustainable table in corrugated cardboard
The sustainable Cardboard Table from Cotter, KATOxVictoria and EXPO VIVA –here in action at the entrepreneurial summit in the Old Horsens State Prison. A central point in the development was to create a table that reflected the event’s temporary nature. Instead of lugging heavy furniture around, it should signal lightness of material, shape and function.
This creates a result that is easy to assemble, easy to transport and reusable.
